Entry Table Makeover

When we moved into house #2, one of my most favorite things was the sunlight that would flood our front entry. The windows fill the space with so much natural light, we rarely need lamps during the day. For quite a while I wasn't sure exactly what to do with the space. I wanted an entry table, but was on a budget and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on one piece of furniture. One lovely spring day I decided to go sift through garage sales... and boy I hit the jackpot. I came away with picture frames, an old stand up tool chest cabinet thingy... perfect for holding video games up in our nook, and this lovely dresser. It was shorter than what I wanted, so I added some legs and painted it a grey-ish blue with home made chalk paint. I liked it for the time being, but after a few months realized it wasn't cutting it. As bright and pretty as my entry was, it still felt too dull and unwelcoming. Enter CORAL. I picked up some high gloss coral paint that I'm in LOVE with. The knobs got a coat of gold spray paint, and my wall got a makeover with some new and old... including a clock made by my Dad. Pieces like that make a space just special. One of a kind. I'm SO in love with the cheerful results!
